Corporate data reporting using Basix™ has now become more flexible with the introduction of Word document templates. This allows you to, for example, generate specially formatted customer invoices that include logos, images and groupings, and even allow staff to add special notes during the process. Generated documents can be automatically attached and emailed to appropriate staff based on rules in Basix™.
We have also extended our integration with Microsoft Reporting Services. Basix™ users can browse reports on multiple servers, and with appropriate permissions edit and create new reports. Basix™ can also run Reporting Service reports, automatically supplying data to the report, reducing data entry and speeding the report generation process.
The capabilities of the Basix™ user interface continue to grow, with the introduction of additional security, and the inclusion of screen images on any form. We have also added the ability to run complex business workflow actions as database stored procedures where required.
Basix:Builder® now makes it easier to validate application designs through the inclusion of a QA-Checker component which highlights any design and data conflicts.
