Basix™ now supports fully configurable drill-down through screens and dynamic jumps to related data in other forms, with browser style forward and back buttons that put the user in control. For example, this allows users to drop down a list of accounts on a form, or jump to the account record for more details, then return to their starting point just by hitting the Back button.
In terms of visual enhancements, Basix™ now has an option for creating blended colour frames, allowing consultants to highlight and group various properties on objects.
The first release of a new product called Basix:Notifier is now available. Basix:Notifier allows end users to be automatically notified of various time or data based events, such as the approval of a work task or a service level agreement about to be breached. By subscribing to a saved search, you can be advised automatically of any new items that are discovered by that search, even when Basix™ is not running. Any automated processes including billing, SLA monitoring, data synchronisation or time based workflow actions, can be handled by this facility. Notification mechanisms include emails with attached (generated) documents or links, Microsoft Communicator messages, Microsoft Outlook Tasks and Basix™ To-Do items.
